Tour de Payroll team conquer Mount Snowdon

A team of eight cyclists from MHR have successfully completed our Tour de Payroll charity bike ride.

They scaled the heights of Mount Snowdon on foot, with them reaching the 3,500ft summit despite the bad weather. This marked the end of the 280-mile gruelling challenge from Nottingham to Wales.

The five-day trek was organised to mark the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) National Payroll Week and raise funds for the Loughborough based charity Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People - the only hospice in the East Midlands that provides care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The money raised will go towards funding physiotherapy to babies, children and young people cared for at the hospice to help with a range of symptoms as a result of their individual conditions.

The challenge started at our Britannia House site in Nottingham and saw the team stopping off at the CIPP in Solihull as well as several of our customers along the way, including Flintshire County Council in Mold, North Wales Fire & Rescue’s Rhyl Community Fire Station and Conwy County Borough Council, before conquering Mount Snowdon.

Congratulations to our team for such an amazing achievement and thank you to everyone who kindly donated to such an amazing cause.
