MHR creates 30 new jobs following strong start to 2019


MHR is looking to recruit up to 30 new employees following a successful first half year to 2019.

Since the start of the year, the specialist provider of HR and payroll software and outsourced services responsible for processing in excess of 2.3million peoples’ pay across the UK, has attracted 66 new UK customers across a variety of industry sectors including crop protection and agronomy firm Agrovista UK Ltd, foam converter and specialist mattress and bed manufacturer Breasley Pillows and construction company Prater.

75 customers including UK’s largest furniture manufacturer and retailer DFS have seen successful implementations of MHR’s iTrent software.

To build on its recent success, MHR is now looking to fill vacancies across all departments including software development, implementation, project management, sales, marketing, product planning, market research and finance which will take its total workforce to 700.

To accommodate its current and future growth MHR is currently undergoing a £10million building expansion project on the site of its existing Britannia House based at Ruddington Fields Business Park in Mere Way.

The first of these offices, Wellington House which houses MHR’s software teams, opened in 2017 with the other two due to be built in the next few years with the creation of another 300 jobs. A £3million refurbishment of Britannia House was recently completed, providing a modern open plan working environment for up to 350 employees.

To support the company’s expansion and future-proof the site for current and future employees MHR has also received the go-ahead to build a new £4.5million four-storey car park on the site of the existing ground-level car park at the business park.

The car park will have space for an additional 190 cars on the site and feature a solar panel roof which will power its internal lighting and a number of charging points for electric vehicles.

To retain the character of the wider business park, the car park will adopt the appearance of an office rather than a traditional multi-storey car park.

Ground works have already commenced on the car park which is due to be completed by Spring next year.
