HR and Payroll Experts, MHR, have today unveiled a brand new campaign that celebrates the hidden and often overlooked contributions made by Payroll and HR professionals to successful businesses.
The first two-minute film in a series of six focuses on “Margaret” a payroll professional by day and ‘rock star’ by night. In the video, Margaret, faced with the month end payroll challenges, uses iTrent, MHR’s flagship product, to simplify and automate calculations, process last minute expense claims quickly and easily, and distribute payslips to all employees at the touch of a button – making her work life easier and more productive.
Feeling enabled inside work has a transformative effect on Margaret outside of work, and the video reveals Margaret’s talent as a spunky singer of a rock band.
“MHR’s new video campaign is designed to raise the profile of Payroll and HR professionals by challenging stereotypes and recognising the crucial roles they undertake on a daily basis,” said Ian Stewart, Marketing Director at MHR.
“The videos aim to put a sense of human-ness, fun and heart back into HR, celebrating real people like Margaret who exist behind the scenes in organisations everywhere and, who if given the right tools, can achieve greatness in all aspects of life”.
MHR’s sixth video will be opened up to its 900 customers, giving them the chance to nominate a hidden talent within their own business. The winning entry will form the inspiration behind the sixth and final video in the series.
