Modern Slavery Statement

OUR COMMITMENT

Our Business

MHR is a long established provider of HR, payroll, finance and analytics products and services. We are a privately owned company established in 1984 specialising in the implementation and support of human resources, payroll, finance and analytics software solutions and consultancy for major organisations within the commercial, government and health sectors.

Purpose

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. MHR has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

Supply Chains

Our supply chains include, but are not limited to, software and hardware providers, stationery suppliers, employment agencies and maintenance services. We have reviewed the risks that these supply chains can present and continue to review them to ensure we minimise any potential risk.

We expect our suppliers and contractors to demonstrate a zero tolerance approach to exploitation. To this end, we have inserted a clause into our contracts requiring that they comply with the provisions of the Act and granting us the right to terminate in the event of their failure to do so.

Taking Action

As part of our procurement process, we will only engage with suppliers and contractors who confirm their compliance with the Act. We will continue to keep our staff informed and raise awareness of how to recognise and respond to indicators of human rights abuses. We have adapted and re-promoted our existing corporate policies to incorporate modern slavery and human trafficking issues, including our whistleblowing policy which allows employees to report any concerns confidentially.
